Cavo Delea Elegant Suites is a brand new beach front complex of contemporary suites located on the coastline of Posidi in Halkidiki, Greece. It opened in 2020 during a very difficult and unprecedented period owing to the global Covid-19 pandemic. During these trying times that we are going through, we would like you to know that our thoughts and wishes are with you, and we hope that you are safe and in good health.
We would like you to know that the safety and wellbeing of our guests, partners and colleagues is our top priority. Therefore, we are striving to make Cavo Delea a “Covid-19 free” destination. We continue to closely monitor the global situation and we are actively taking steps to control the spread of Covid-19. Consequently, we are strictly adhering to advice from the World Health Organization and the local and health authorities and following all the protocols and their recommendations on the appropriate health and safety measures and we have been awarded the "Health First" award from the Greek Ministry of Tourism.
Specifically:
- The only common area at Cavo Delea is the reception area, where all the hygiene rules and the safety distances are strictly adhered to.
- Every suite is independent and features exclusively private indoor and outdoor areas (some of them with a private swimming pool or jacuzzi) providing our guests with extra safety.
- A pre-made breakfast basket containing only packaged products is delivered every morning to your villa/ suite, in order to avoid having breakfast in a common area.
- We have removed unnecessary objects from the suites, in order to minimize the exposed surfaces.
- All staff members have already been provided with and follow information and special instructions about Covid-19. Most of our staff members have been vaccinated.
- We take standards for cleanliness very seriously and have well-established hygiene standards and daily cleaning procedures to address both general cleanliness and disinfection. We have increased our cleaning and hygiene protocols adjusted to the instructions about Covid-19.
- We implement a regular procedure to disinfect exposed surfaces, such as door handles, keys and elevator buttons with anti-bacterial liquids.
- Cavo Delea offers daily housekeeping. However, because of Covid-19, we encourage our guests not to choose this service, in order to ensure that they will be the only people who enter their villa/ suite during their stay. In that case, we offer our guests two bags, one for used towels and linen and one for waste. When towels and bedding need to be cleaned and when waste needs to be removed, guests are asked to place bags outside their suite for housekeeping to collect them.
- The thourough cleaning of the suites takes place after guests leave.
